Houston is full of hidden gems, and Vinotino Grill is definitely one of them. We were driving along 99 near John Paul Park, looking for a quick food stop, and ended up discovering this incredible spot.Tucked away in the middle of a ranch, it’s the kind of place you’d never expect to find — but once you do, you won’t forget it. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, and the food is fantastic. We ordered La Criollita, a beef steak served with salad and guacamole — everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. If you’re ever in the area, Vinotino Grill is 100% worth the detour.
You are in for an amazing meal in Vinitinto Grill. They do Carne en Vara, a traditional way to grill meat, the Venezuelan way. Meats are high quality and the rest of the food is amazing. I’ll recommend you try the soup and the cachapa. This is the closest you will ever get to a carne en vara in the US. Sauces are incredible, try the spicy one you won’t regret it. It’s a family business and they are inside a rodeo-style place, so its there’s is no AC. They have fans in the summer and heathers in the winter.
The owner was incredibly friendly and provided awesome service. The food offered was a delicious representation of Venezuelan cuisine. You absolutely must come and visit!
The service was great, the staff is very polite and most of all the food tastes delicious. Thank you
Best Venezuelan place in Houston, Tx Fresh food great service! Everyone its very attentive
If you are in Katy, Tx or around the area, and want to have a different experience, with good “carne en vara” steak, go to this place … I have Venezuelans friends, and love them, but after getting to know Don Luis (the owner) love them even more .. amazing customer service, extremely delicious steak flavor, perfectly cooked and the sides of yuca and salad was a perfect fresh complement, the cachapa it’s real corn you can taste it . This is not the only thing, as soon as you arrive Don Luis will ask you if you are new in the restaurant, if yes you will be “baptize” with a crunchy delicious peace of steak to welcome you to his Vinotinto family !
